Taiwan will not verify personal information such as shopping information, bank account and credit card number through phone calls, text messages or emails in any name, nor will it verify any personal information for any reason (for example: mistakenly setting up installment payment or Continuous deductions, mistakenly placing orders, repaying amounts, canceling or changing payment methods, membership upgrade services, etc.) require you to operate an ATM or counter, or online banking remittance, and will not send text messages asking you to download files. If you accept If you receive a similar call or text message, please hang up immediately and call Police Department anti-fraud hotline 165.
